Ambrose Alli University Appoints Acting Registrar.

Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, have  appointed Mr. Eddy Ehiakkhamen  as the Acting
Registrar of the state owned university.

Mr. Eddy Ehiakkhamen replaced Mr Chris Adamaigbo who recently completed his   tenure of office.

Mr Chris Adamaigbo, serve as substantive Registrar of the University  which tenure came to an end  on Tuesday, 27 April 2021.

Earlier, there was conflicting report  that the the two deputy registrars, Mr. Eddy Ehiakkhamen and Ify Nwabudike (Esq) were laying claim of being appointmented as acting Registrar of the school.

According to the report, the two people were armed with  letters of appointment  Mr. Eddy Ehiakkhamen andIfy Nwabudike (Esq) claiming to have been appointed  by the university.


Both letters were claimed to have been issued from two different power blocs of the university administration.


 
It was gathered that the letter of appointment issued to Mr. Eddy Ehiakkhamen, was signed by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ignatius Onimawo,  while the outgoing Registrar, Mr. Chris Adamaigbo, issued the appointment letter of Ify Nwabudike (Esq) as Acting Registrar.

When contacted on his mobile phone for reaction, the University’s image-maker, Edward Aihevba, said, "Only one staff has been appointed as Acting Registrar, that is Sir Eddy Ehiakhamen. The handover has been smoothly and successfully done", he concluded.
