Absence of Ballot Papers Stall Election in Esan West.

By Lucky Isibor There's is palpable tension in Esan Central/Esan West/Igueben Federal Constituency as absence of ballot papers is threatening the conduct of election into the House of Representatives.  Though accreditation and voting has commenced in some polling units in Esan Central, Esan West and Igueben Local Government Areas, but the absence of Labour Party logo on the ballot paper. There are also reports of non-arrival of electoral materials in ward 7 unit 5 and all the polling units at Emuhi in Esan West Local Government Area. Attempts to reach the INEC Electoral Officer E.O. in Esan West Local Government Area failed as he's said to be on the field monitoring the distribution of electoral materials. Reports from Ujiogba, precisely Egure Primary School, Ujiogba indicate that the BVAS machine stopped functioning after accrediting some voters.

Political Parties in Esanland Commit to Violence Free Elections
