Senator representing Edo Central Senatorial District.
In a statement signed by the Executive Director and General Secretary of Esan Youth for Good Governance And Social Justice, Comrade Benson Odia and Eigbefoh Onosetale respectively, said the decision to call on Senator Ordia to  contest the 2023 Edo Central Senatorial election was taken at a meeting of the group held at Uromi on 28 December 2021 and described him as a visionary leader and a political enigma.

"Our distinguished Senator, you are a political enigma, visionary leader per excellence, a leader that is driven by purpose and passion to serve Esan people.
"We are very proud to associate with you, you are a pace setter, you are the best Edo Senator  in the fouth republic. You have performed beyond your electioneering campaign promises to the people of our Senatorial District."

While enumerating Senator Ordia's achievements in the Senate which warranted their call on him to run for the Senator slot for the third term, the group noted that their call is to prepare the Senator to contest the 2024 Edo State governorship election.

"You have taken Esan to an enviable height in terms of your constituency projects which cuts across the 5 Local Government Areas, among which are building of health care centres across 5 Local Government Areas, block of classrooms, road projects, solar street lights, provision of trycycles to youths in the 51 wards that make the Senatorial District, building of Okaijesan hall in Irrua, training of 500 women and youth for different agricultural programmes with grant of N200,000 each among others.
"We therefore pass a vote of confidence on you and endorse you for a third term as Senator to represent Edo Central Senatorial District.
In the light of the above, we unanimously solicit your interest to run for Edo 2024 Governorship Election in consonance with the Esan Agenda", the statement said.
