Chief Patrick Agbator, House of Representatives Hopeful Felicitates With Christians at Easter.

An aspirant for the Esan Central/ Esan West/Igueben Federal Constituency on the platform of the People's Democratic Party PDP, Chief Patrick Agbator has felicitated with Christians on the celebration of the 2022 Easter.

Agbator who noted that the celebration of Easter is a reenactment of the virtue of sacrifice as exemplified by our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ on the Cross of Calvery to redeem mankind from sin, ignorance and reconciliation with God almighty, congratulated Christians for the sacrifice and self denial they made during the forty days lenty season of fasting and prayers.

According to Chief Agbator, "Easter symbolizes the renewal of life. I wish you and your family the renewal of life, love, and happiness in this holy season of Easter and in the remaining part of the year.  Happy Easter to you all", the statement said.

Chief Patrick Agbator is a philanthropist and successful businessman who is presently in the fore front in the race for the PDP ticket for the House of Representatives for EsanCentral/ Esan West/Igueben Federal Constituency in Edo Central Senatorial District.

Edo State Anti- Cultism Taskforce Arrests 11 Suspects, to Face Prosecution

The Edo State Special Anti-Cultism Task Force  on Wednesday in Benin City, the Edo State capital, paraded 11 persons suspected to be involved in cultitism in the State, pointing out that the operation that led to their arrest is giving effect to the attainment of the Edo State guidelines of zero tolerance for cults and cultism  related crimes in the state adding that more would be done within the ambit of the law to stamp out cultism from the state such that there would not be any hiding place for cultists in the state. The taskforce headed by the Department of State Services (DSS) was created by the Governor Obaseki-led state government in response to increasing cult killings which had claimed many youthful lives across the state. Edo 2024: Consensus Christian Leaders Forum Holds Prayer Session

By Lucky Isibor Ahead the Edo State 2024 governorship election, the Consensus Christian Leaders Forum (CCLF) is to hold a prayer session on Saturday, 10 February to seek the face of God to lead Edo people aright to choose a God fearing Governor on 21 September. In a release by the leader of CCLF, Archbishop Fred Aghedo stated that the prayer session with the theme "Where is Edo of our dream", and called on Edo people to join the group in the prayers to seek the face of God and pray for the realisation of the Edo of our dream.
