Patrick Agbator Denies Rumoured Withdrawal from House of Representatives Race.
By Lucky Isibor.
The leading aspirant of the People’s Democratic Party PDP, for Esan Central/ Esan West/Igueben Federal Constituency in the 2023 House of Representatives election, Chief Patrick Agbator, has denied reports that he has withdrawn from the race to pitch tenth with another aspirant.
In a statement released by his Campaign Organization and signed by the Director of Communication, Hon. Felix Omokhodion described the rumour as the handiwork of mischief makers who have seen the direction the pendulum is swinging since the entrance of Chief Patrick Agbator into the race and urged the PDP delegates in the old Okpebho federal constituency and the good people of Esan Central/Esan West/Igueben Federal Constituency to disregard the rumour.
“We want to clarify to members of the public that the laughable report claiming that Chief Patrick Agbator has dropped out of the PDP House of Representatives race and has pitched tenth with another aspirant is completely false.”
“It is a deliberate falsehood created and circulated by those who are afraid to confront him at the polls and are thus seeking ways to cause confusion and mislead the people. Chief Patrick Agbator enjoys swelling support from party delegates across the 3 LGAs of the old Okpebholo Federal Constituency. Therefore, he has no reason to quit the race.”
“We urge the people of Esan West, Esan Central and Igueben Federal Constituency to disregard information from questionable sources operated by individuals with no credibility especially as it pertains to the aspiration of Chief Patrick Agbator.”
