Josemaria Escriva Foundation Holds 4th Annual Lecture 30 June.

The fourth edition of the Josemaria Escriva Foundation Annual Lecture series will hold on 30 June. 
This year's edition of the annual lecture series titled Beyond Paper Qualification: Reinventing Enterpreneaural Skills as Alternative to Fighting Poverty in Nigeria, will be delivered by Prof. (Mrs) Ethel Idialu of the Department of Vocational and Technical Education, Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma.

In a statement signed by the Chief Responsibility Officer of Josemaria Escriva Foundation, Dr. Jude Obasanmi and made available to newsmen states that the lecture will hold at the Chosen Hotel Ekpoma under the chairmanship of BLDR Rotr. Hope Ezehi of Haxel Construction Company Ltd will commence at 9.30am.
The statement urged invited guests to be seated by 9 am.

Edo State Anti- Cultism Taskforce Arrests 11 Suspects, to Face Prosecution

The Edo State Special Anti-Cultism Task Force  on Wednesday in Benin City, the Edo State capital, paraded 11 persons suspected to be involved in cultitism in the State, pointing out that the operation that led to their arrest is giving effect to the attainment of the Edo State guidelines of zero tolerance for cults and cultism  related crimes in the state adding that more would be done within the ambit of the law to stamp out cultism from the state such that there would not be any hiding place for cultists in the state. The taskforce headed by the Department of State Services (DSS) was created by the Governor Obaseki-led state government in response to increasing cult killings which had claimed many youthful lives across the state. Edo 2024: Consensus Christian Leaders Forum Holds Prayer Session

By Lucky Isibor Ahead the Edo State 2024 governorship election, the Consensus Christian Leaders Forum (CCLF) is to hold a prayer session on Saturday, 10 February to seek the face of God to lead Edo people aright to choose a God fearing Governor on 21 September. In a release by the leader of CCLF, Archbishop Fred Aghedo stated that the prayer session with the theme "Where is Edo of our dream", and called on Edo people to join the group in the prayers to seek the face of God and pray for the realisation of the Edo of our dream. Archbishop Aghedo noted that the people cannot have an Edo of their dream while sitting back, resting on their oars, but urged them to challenge God with prayers on the realisation of the Edo State of their dream; adding that it's only when they have good and God fearing leaders that the Edo State of our dream can be realised.
