Osezuah Family Announces Death of Stella Ugboke

The Osezuah Ikhine's family of Uromi in Esan north East local government of Edo State has announced the untimely death of their daughter and sister,  Mrs Stella Ugboke (Née Osezuah) in the early hours of Monday 20th September, 2022.

In a statement issued and signed by Engr. Abraham Oria Osezuah, a brother to the deceased  and foremost chairmanship aspirant in  Esan North East for the Edo State  LGC Election said, "it is with heavy heart  we announced the death of our beloved Sister, wife, mother, sister, aunt Mrs. Stella Ugboke (Nee Osezuah ) who slept in the Lord on the 20th September 2022.

"She gave up the ghost after a Protracted illness at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital.

"Until her death, she was a business woman, house wife and a woman of God

"She is survived by a son , four daughters, husband , mother, brothers and sisters.
"The burial arrangements will be announced later," the statement concluded.

Edo State Anti- Cultism Taskforce Arrests 11 Suspects, to Face Prosecution

The Edo State Special Anti-Cultism Task Force  on Wednesday in Benin City, the Edo State capital, paraded 11 persons suspected to be involved in cultitism in the State, pointing out that the operation that led to their arrest is giving effect to the attainment of the Edo State guidelines of zero tolerance for cults and cultism  related crimes in the state adding that more would be done within the ambit of the law to stamp out cultism from the state such that there would not be any hiding place for cultists in the state. The taskforce headed by the Department of State Services (DSS) was created by the Governor Obaseki-led state government in response to increasing cult killings which had claimed many youthful lives across the state. Edo 2024: Consensus Christian Leaders Forum Holds Prayer Session

By Lucky Isibor Ahead the Edo State 2024 governorship election, the Consensus Christian Leaders Forum (CCLF) is to hold a prayer session on Saturday, 10 February to seek the face of God to lead Edo people aright to choose a God fearing Governor on 21 September. In a release by the leader of CCLF, Archbishop Fred Aghedo stated that the prayer session with the theme "Where is Edo of our dream", and called on Edo people to join the group in the prayers to seek the face of God and pray for the realisation of the Edo of our dream.
