Nigeria Professionals Pledge 5 Million Votes for Atiku

Members of Nigeria Professionals for Atiku/Okowa, a group of Nigerian professionals in various fields of human endeavour, has vowed to mobilise five million votes for the Atiku /Okowa presidential ticket to ensure victory for the People's Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate in the 2023 election.

The national coordinator of the group, Dr. Folus Ejele who disclosed this to newsmen in a chat, said their desire is to ensure that Nigeria starts working again with the Atiku/Okowa presidency, adding that the group is motivated by Atiku's promise to enthrone a regime of economic development and sustainable prosperity for Nigerians when elected president in 2023.
Ejele, who is also a member of the PDP Presidential Campaign Council, assured that the Atiku presidency will be founded on the principle of transparency, accountablility and the rule of law.
"This goal will be achieved through an inclusive servant leadership, transformative governance reforms, economic diplomacy and preventive diplomacy with the objective of improving the quality of lives of Nigerians.
"His government will be founded on principles of transparency, accountability, rule of law and focus on enhancing productivity and value addition in all sectors of social, economic, security and environmental progress of the country.
"Nigeria professionals for Atiku is now in all wards, local government areas and states across the country and over 30 countries of the world.
"We are currently mobilising votes and supports for Atiku across the country. Our members are out there doing what we call mosquito campaign by reaching out to electorate in villages, churches, mosques, schools, towns and cities by educating on the ideas and visions of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar. We are very certain of mobilising over 5 million votes for Atiku", he said.
While assuring that when elected president in 2023 Atiku Abubakar will put measures in place to tackle insecurity in the country, Ejele said community policing will be introduced to enhance security of lives and property.
"Our leader will embark on an aggressive measures to handle insecurity in the country by involving everybody and agencies involved in security in the country. Peace and security in the country would be achieved through an integrated programme to accelerate youth employment, integrated rural development programmes and community policing that will involve all citizens."
On the crisis rocking the PDP, the national coordinator noted that the party has internal mechanisms for resolving all grieviances within the party, assuring that before 2023 general elections, all issues concerning Governor wike and others would have been resolved.
