The Edo South Senatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2023 general elections, Hon. Matthew Iduoriyekenmwen has called on all well-meaning Nigerians particularly members of his Edo South constituency to be committed to the project of building a strong and virile nation where everyone will have a sense of belonging through a unified government of the PDP which Alhaji Atiku represents.
Iduoriyekemwen made the call in his new year message to the good people of Edo South Senatorial District, Edo State and Nigeria in general which he personally signed and made available to the press earlier today.
In his goodwill message, Hon. Iduoriyekenmwen urged every well-meaning Nigerian to remain steadfast in their resolve to be united in the struggle of building a virile and economically viable nation where everyone irrespective of tribe, tongue or religion will have a sense of belonging.
According to the former Edo NDDC Commissioner, “I urged all our supporters of the PDP and our teeming fans to massively vote for the people oriented vision of the presidential candidate of the party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and all the PDP candidates in the February general elections to ensure victory for the PDP so that with good governance, we can harness the nation's sprawling endowment for the common good of all.
“I therefore urged Nigerians to be focused and united with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the struggle to rebuild the ruins of the nation through purposeful and people oriented leadership which the PDP represents.
“I salute your courage and resilience in the face of daunting hardship occasioned by APC maladministration and I call on all Nigerians to come together to massively vote for all the PDP candidates to ensure a turnaround of our national plenitude.
“I wish you all a happy 2023. God bless the good people of Edo South Senatorial District, God Bless Edo State and God Bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria", the statement said.
