Umagbai Ward, Uhunmode Youths Endorse Amb. Kaycee for EDHA

Youths in Umagbae South Ward 6 of Uhumode Local Government Area of Edo State have thrown their weight behind Ambassador Kaycee Uhunoma for the Uhumode State constituency, Edo State House of Assembly under the platform of the People's Democratic Party PDP describing him as one of their own whom they cannot abandon.
In a statement by youths and signed by a youth leader in the area, Pizaro noted that it is the time for the youths to take the lead adding that he has their unalloyed support ahead the election.


According to the statement, "We the people of Ward 6 Umagba South assures you our very own son Amb.  Kaycee Uhunoma osamwonyi  that we are solidly behind you, it's time for the  youth to take the lead. Edo must be great again".

The youths assure the PDP House of Assembly hopeful that they'll criss cross the nooks and crannies of Uhumode to canvass for votes for him and will ensure they use their PVC to give youths a place in the leadership of Uhumode.

Edo State Anti- Cultism Taskforce Arrests 11 Suspects, to Face Prosecution

The Edo State Special Anti-Cultism Task Force  on Wednesday in Benin City, the Edo State capital, paraded 11 persons suspected to be involved in cultitism in the State, pointing out that the operation that led to their arrest is giving effect to the attainment of the Edo State guidelines of zero tolerance for cults and cultism  related crimes in the state adding that more would be done within the ambit of the law to stamp out cultism from the state such that there would not be any hiding place for cultists in the state. The taskforce headed by the Department of State Services (DSS) was created by the Governor Obaseki-led state government in response to increasing cult killings which had claimed many youthful lives across the state. Edo 2024: Consensus Christian Leaders Forum Holds Prayer Session

By Lucky Isibor Ahead the Edo State 2024 governorship election, the Consensus Christian Leaders Forum (CCLF) is to hold a prayer session on Saturday, 10 February to seek the face of God to lead Edo people aright to choose a God fearing Governor on 21 September. In a release by the leader of CCLF, Archbishop Fred Aghedo stated that the prayer session with the theme "Where is Edo of our dream", and called on Edo people to join the group in the prayers to seek the face of God and pray for the realisation of the Edo of our dream.
