Dorry Okojie, At Home With Every Segment of Society

Over the years Dorry Okojie  has warmed himself into the hearts of the youths and students from all the nooks and crannies of Edo State.
He has been supportive of their challenges and has in his own way contributed to the resolution of the challenges confronting them.

The youths in turn have started to pay him back as demonstrated in Auchi last week when a group of youth designed a banner calling on Dr Efosa Dorry Okojie (EDO) to contest the Edo State 2024 governorship election. 

Ekpon youths in Edo Central Senatorial District followed the Edo North example and went ahead to print and erect a banner for Dr. Dorry Okojie at the popular Ekpon junction.

Efosa Dorry Okojie is also at home with the elders and leaders of the various strata of our communities and are also calling on him to go into the race. A man with boundless love and respect for his elders, Dorry Okojie has through his interactions with Edo elders shown that he is an exponent of the moral and cultural rebirth of Edo State which our community and religious leaders have been yearning for.

He's at home with Kings and nobles, youths, men and women, those who are  domicile in Edo South, Edo Central and Edo North.

Through his numerous philanthropic activities and his involvement in the provision of security in some Edo communities, he has  come to be familiar with the challenges confronting our rural dwellers, especially women and children.

In the business world, Dorry Okojie is a doyen not only in managing his business, but has mentored a lot of young people who are venturing into business for the very first time.


As a result of his involvement in negotiating high volume business deals with high network individuals over the years, Dorry Okojie has the know how to
 assemble the critical success factors for investment promotion for the state. He is also very knowledgeable on how to fund employment generating infrastructure through blended finance solutions, mainly from non-government sources. 

These are the things Edo people want to leverage to develop and take the state to a new height, hence they are calling on Efosa Dorry Okojie (EDO) to contest the Edo State 2024 governorship election.

Edo State Anti- Cultism Taskforce Arrests 11 Suspects, to Face Prosecution

The Edo State Special Anti-Cultism Task Force  on Wednesday in Benin City, the Edo State capital, paraded 11 persons suspected to be involved in cultitism in the State, pointing out that the operation that led to their arrest is giving effect to the attainment of the Edo State guidelines of zero tolerance for cults and cultism  related crimes in the state adding that more would be done within the ambit of the law to stamp out cultism from the state such that there would not be any hiding place for cultists in the state. The taskforce headed by the Department of State Services (DSS) was created by the Governor Obaseki-led state government in response to increasing cult killings which had claimed many youthful lives across the state. Edo 2024: Consensus Christian Leaders Forum Holds Prayer Session

By Lucky Isibor Ahead the Edo State 2024 governorship election, the Consensus Christian Leaders Forum (CCLF) is to hold a prayer session on Saturday, 10 February to seek the face of God to lead Edo people aright to choose a God fearing Governor on 21 September. In a release by the leader of CCLF, Archbishop Fred Aghedo stated that the prayer session with the theme "Where is Edo of our dream", and called on Edo people to join the group in the prayers to seek the face of God and pray for the realisation of the Edo of our dream.
