Dorry Okojie Mourns Death of Raymond Dokpesi

A frontline philanthropist and property merchant, Dr Dorry Afe Efosa Okojie has commiserated with the Dokpesi family of Agenebode on the demise of their patriarch, Chief Raymond Aleoghor Dekpesi who joined the angels triumphants Monday, 29 May.

In a condolence message personally signed by the frontline governorship aspirant, Dr. Dorry Okojie eulogised the late Ezomo of Weppa-- Wanno for the finesse he brought to bear on all his undertakings.
"I wish to commiserate with the Dokpesi family of Agenebode and DAAR Communications on the death of the patriarch of the Dokpesi family and founder of DAAR Communications, African Independent Television (AIT) and Ray Power Radio.
"Raymond Dokpesi, an astute businessman who bestrode the Nigerian maritime industry like a colossus also pioneered private broadcasting in Nigeria, creating lots of employment opportunities in the process and expanded the frontiers of the agitation for the enthronement of democracy which came to fruition in 1999.
"The Ezomo of Weppa- Wanno , Chief Raymond Dokpesi used his talent and wealth to uplift his community and empowered people and lifted many out of poverty.
"While praying for the peaceful repose of his soul, I condole the entire Dokpesi family, the people of Agenebode and the entire Weppa-Wanno clan, the management and staff of African Independent Television AIT, Ray Power Radio, the Board and management of Daar Communications as well as friends and associates and pray that God will grant all the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss", the statement noted.
