Over the years, the renowned real estate magnate, Dr. Dorry Afe Okojie, has remained an enigma and a phenomenon in Nigeria’s philanthropic space.
He hails from the royal family of Ohordua Kingdom, in Esan South-East Local Government Area of Edo State, 

He is the chairman of Dorry Okojie Foundation which is committed to  touching lives positively, especially the needy  

Dr Dorry Okojie is also the  founder of the Esan Solidarity Association Network (ESAN) which gave birth to the Atanakpa Security outfit supporting the Edo State government in tackling the insecurity situation in the state.

Though Dr. Dorry Okojie is known to be very close to the corridors of power in  Edo State and Nigeria at large, his closeness to the  downtrodden is even more.

 That is why Edo people who have been following the trajectory of this real estate business mogul will easily point to his record as a philanthropist without borders who is  not curtailed by tribe, politics, or religion.

Dr. Dorry Okojie knows no boundaries, as he doles out to the poor, homeless, sick, and needy; no wonder he is known as the uncommon Philanthropist of our time. 

Dorry Okojie Foundation is widespread in rendering selfless services and providing support in all areas of life like security, schools, agriculture,and water supply.

 The Edo-born business mogul is also known to have donated huge sums of money and learning materials to schools in Edo State. 

His exploits in the area of human capital development are unparalleled. To him, philanthropy is just a way of life and not an opportunity to show off.

He has been severally described as an illustrious son of Edo land who has used his wealth to touch the lives of others.

In 2021, he donated millions of naira to make sure Atanapa succeeds and supports Youth and women's development in Edo State.

Edo State Anti- Cultism Taskforce Arrests 11 Suspects, to Face Prosecution

The Edo State Special Anti-Cultism Task Force  on Wednesday in Benin City, the Edo State capital, paraded 11 persons suspected to be involved in cultitism in the State, pointing out that the operation that led to their arrest is giving effect to the attainment of the Edo State guidelines of zero tolerance for cults and cultism  related crimes in the state adding that more would be done within the ambit of the law to stamp out cultism from the state such that there would not be any hiding place for cultists in the state. The taskforce headed by the Department of State Services (DSS) was created by the Governor Obaseki-led state government in response to increasing cult killings which had claimed many youthful lives across the state. Edo 2024: Consensus Christian Leaders Forum Holds Prayer Session

By Lucky Isibor Ahead the Edo State 2024 governorship election, the Consensus Christian Leaders Forum (CCLF) is to hold a prayer session on Saturday, 10 February to seek the face of God to lead Edo people aright to choose a God fearing Governor on 21 September. In a release by the leader of CCLF, Archbishop Fred Aghedo stated that the prayer session with the theme "Where is Edo of our dream", and called on Edo people to join the group in the prayers to seek the face of God and pray for the realisation of the Edo of our dream.
