ANEEJ Congratulates New NESG Boss, Aduloju on Appointment

The Africa Network for Environment and Economic Justice (ANEEJ) has congratulated Dr. Tayo Aduloju on his emergence as the new Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG)

In a congratulatory message in Benin City by the Executive Director of ANEEJ, Rev. David Ugolor, noted that Dr. Aduloju has the capacity to offer exceptional leadership based on his qualification and experience in the sector.   


 Ugolor in the message expressed the determination of ANEEJ to work closely with Dr. Aduloju during his tenure which takes effect from 1st January 2024. Dr. Tayo Aduloju is currently the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Senior Fellow for Economic Policy, Strategy and Communications at NESG and will replace Mr. Laoye Jaiyeola, who will complete his two-term tenure by the end of 2023. 

According to Rev. Ugolor: "We extend our warmest congratulations to Dr. Tayo Aduloju for a well-deserved appointment as the sixth CEO of NESG, and we are confident that he will offer exceptional leadership at the Group based on his qualification and experience in the sector.

"We worked together previously on several issues including while he was the in-coming co-chair of Open Government Partnership, Nigeria during the development and implementation of the first National Action Plan, and later when he became the substantive co-chair during the implementation of the second national action plan."

The Nigerian Economic Summit Group was established in 1996 as a non-profit and non-partisan organisation dedicated to advancing economic reform in Nigeria and has become a leading platform for public-private dialogue, fostering collaboration between the government, private sector and other stakeholders.
