APC Stalwart, Idahosa Bags Award Of Honour

A group under the aegis of "NO WOMAN NO NATION RENEW HOPE" , an NGO for women development, empowerment and capacity building in Edo state has presented an award of honour to the apex leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ikpoba Okha Local Government Area of Edo State, Comrade Osarobo Idahosa.

The group in their remarks, said the award was in recognition of Comrade Idahosa for his selfless service to the people and his uncommon leadership style.

The group which is made up of different coordinators across the 18 Local Government Areas of the state, were at the residence of comrade Idahosa in Benin City, to honour him with the award.

Presenting the award, the leader of the group who is also the state Director, Mrs Tosan Osamudiame, said Comrade Osarobo Idahosa has played a fatherly role in their lives and the group's achievements thus far.

Mrs Osamudiame said the selfless service and the leadership style of Comrade Idahosa is second to none anywhere in the world and prayed God to continue to bless and protect him and his entire household.

Receiving the award, an elated Idahosa, who is a taciturn, said he was shocked when he saw the group trooped into his compound but never knew they have packaged something for him.

"I was surprised today when I saw you people came into the compound. I never knew what you people have packaged for me.

 "I'm very happy for this award. I'm very happy to be part of you people. This award is going to spur me to do more and also to make me improve on my services to humanity.

" I don't want to bore you with too many words because I know a lot of you came from far and near, Edo North, Edo Central, Egor and many more but what I want to assure you people is that, come rain or sunshine, I'm with you people", Idahosa said. 

Comrade Idahosa who served as Edo State co-ordinator Tinibu/Shettima Independent Grassroots Campaign Council (ICC), is also the president and Founder Grassroots Youths initiatives (GYI), advised the women not to relent in their quest to see the betterment of the Nigerian people and appealed to them they  ensure they come together as one.

He advised them to go back to their various local government and wards to bring more people into the fold as they're all needed to move the state forward.

"I heard what the secretary said about empowerment and encouragement. I promise you all, we will not let you down. We are going to relate with our leaders".

"We're APC, we can't deny the fact that we are APC. We will need this group. We need more of you people. You people are going to stand for the betterment of this state by the special grace of God. Any support you people will need or want from us, we will render the support by the grace of God".
