Hon. Maureen Ekhoragbon-Ero (JP) Congratulates Hon. Atu, Okaka as Principal Officers of Edo State House of Assembly
A frontline governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Maureen Ekhoragbon-Ero (JP) has congratulated Hon. Eric Okaka, (APC) and Hon.Osamwonyi Evbaguehita Atu, members representing Owan East Constituency and Orhionmwon East Constituency on their emergence as Minority Leader and Minority Whip respectively of the Edo State 8th Assembly.
In a statement signed by Hon. Maureen Ekhoragbon-Ero (JP) and made available to newsmen in Benin City, urged the duo to initiate people friendly bills that will impact their constituents positively and Edo State in general.
"Your nomination into this position of trust by the All Progressives Congress (APC) caucus in the Edo State House of Assembly a measure of the confidence reposed in you by your APC colleagues in the Edo State House of Assembly, the State caucus of APC and the state executive of the party.
"Knowing that you have what it takes to galvanise your APC colleagues to initiate bills and motions that will impact positively on Edo people's well being, I wish to appeal that you deploy the constitutional functions of your various offices to set a new accountability template in Edo State which will further reinforce Edo people's confidence in our party, the APC.
