Unemployment is one of the malaise plaguing Edo State and indeed Nigeria. Every year the nation's universities and other higher institutions churn out graduates into the labour market without any employment potential awaiting them. Worse still, most of those at the helms of affairs are clueless on how to create employment for them.

But Hon. Maureen Ekhoragbon-Ero (JP) has what it takes to create employment for Edo youths. 
An Exploration Geophysicist, Hon. Maureen Ekhoragbon-Ero (JP) has developed a comprehensive data base of the solid mineral resources available in Edo State, with articulated reports on the most cost effective ways of harnessing them to generate employment opportunities for the people.

She has developed a blue print on how to use the mineral resources in Edo State to develope Edo State and make the state an investment destination in the sector.

Court Restrains Victor Irekenagba From Claiming Eddy Ehiakhamen as Father

Erameh has granted a perpetual injunction restraining one Victor Irekenagba from Opoji, in Esan Central Local Government Area of Edo State from parading himself as the son of Eddy Ehiakhamen, from Egoro Na-Oka in Esan West Local Government Area of Edo State.                       Victor Irekenagba                         Second Defendant   The Court also granted a perpetual injunction restraining one Madam Akhere, who is the mother of Victor Irekenagba from Opoji in Esan Central Local Government Area of Edo State, from parading the said Victor Irekenagba as son of Mr. Eddy Ehiakhamen.
