(Dr) Dorry Okojie And The Parable of The Sower

There is sense in using the Biblical parable of the sower or the growth parable, in exercising diligence in our decision of what we should look out for in political aspirants/ candidates before sowing our seeds ( votes) in them.
This is so because, politicians and the promises they make can be likened to a soil.

The good soil in the parable represents true disciples . Seeds or grains thrown onto a good soil germinate, grow and bring forth bountiful harvest.

Like good and bad soil, so there are good and bad politicians.

Supporting and voting for some politicians is like planting on a thorny and rocky ground. The outcome is obvious-- Bad harvest.

For most politicians, democracy begins and ends with elections. Once elected they turn their backs on those who elected them and forget the promises they made during electioneering.

For Dorry Okojie, evidence abound that he is a good disciple in whom the word of God has deepened and grown.

He stands out as one who can be trusted to deliver on promises.
His promises represent fertile or good soil in which Edo people can sow their wishes and aspirations and expect good harvest.

As we move towards 2024, which is already witnessing aggregation of preferences, being channeled through political parties, Dorry Okojie is fastly and steadily becoming a gubernatorial attraction to many Edo people, who are desirous of sowing on good ground that he symbolizes.
