Life is dynamic, not static, and so should governance. Therefore our style of governance should reflect patherns that are amenable to changes that align with the changing world of today's realities. 
Time is now that governance shifts from steroetypes and embrace internationally acclaimed and acceptable best practice which emphasizes people- oriented style of leadership which provides and strenghtens institutions for the benefit of all. 

Dr Dorry Okojie says it is good to construct roads and given available resources, also good to construct bridges and build railways and metro lines so that civil servants, workers and Students in Akoko- Edo, Igara, Ilushi , Aganebode and other far away places, who so desire, can come to Benin City Mondays through Fridays for work and school and go back to their respective villages seamlessly without neccessarily coming to crowd the city center with hold-ups and issues of accommodation. 

Dr Dorry Okojie said all these things are possible to the mind that is made up and willing to do the needful.

Edo State Anti- Cultism Taskforce Arrests 11 Suspects, to Face Prosecution

The Edo State Special Anti-Cultism Task Force  on Wednesday in Benin City, the Edo State capital, paraded 11 persons suspected to be involved in cultitism in the State, pointing out that the operation that led to their arrest is giving effect to the attainment of the Edo State guidelines of zero tolerance for cults and cultism  related crimes in the state adding that more would be done within the ambit of the law to stamp out cultism from the state such that there would not be any hiding place for cultists in the state. The taskforce headed by the Department of State Services (DSS) was created by the Governor Obaseki-led state government in response to increasing cult killings which had claimed many youthful lives across the state. Edo 2024: Consensus Christian Leaders Forum Holds Prayer Session

By Lucky Isibor Ahead the Edo State 2024 governorship election, the Consensus Christian Leaders Forum (CCLF) is to hold a prayer session on Saturday, 10 February to seek the face of God to lead Edo people aright to choose a God fearing Governor on 21 September. In a release by the leader of CCLF, Archbishop Fred Aghedo stated that the prayer session with the theme "Where is Edo of our dream", and called on Edo people to join the group in the prayers to seek the face of God and pray for the realisation of the Edo of our dream.
