Hon. Maureen Ekhoragbon-Ero JP Congratulates Abubakar Momoh on Appointment as Minister for Niger Delta Development



Hon. Maureen Ekhoragbon-Ero JP has congratulated Engr. Abubakar Momoh on his appointment as the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs Affairs by the President, His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Maureen Ekhoragbon-Ero JP who is a frontline aspirant for the Edo State 2024 governorship election expressed satisfaction with Momoh's appointment as Minister for Niger Delta Affairs, adding that it is a round peg in a round hole.

  In a congratulatory message she signed and made available to newsmen, the former Vice Chairman of Ovia North-East Local Government Council pointed out that Abubakar Momoh as a grassroot politician will be in a position to champion the developmental aspiration of the Niger Delta and ensure the functionality of all the intervention agencies of government geared towards the empowerment of the indigenous people of the nation's oil  bearing communities.


"Your appointment as Minister for Niger Delta Affairs by His Excellency, President Ahmed Bola Tinubu is commendable and I implore you to use the exalted position to recreate a new development agenda for the nation's oil bearing region with a view to ensuring that development permeates the nooks and crannies of the Niger Delta.


"As you're sworn-in and assume your role as Minister, I appeal to you to see to the functionality of all the federal government intervention agencies set up to develop the Niger Delta region live up to their mandate, empower the people and lift the region out of a avoidable poverty".
