A New Edo Beckons

The Edo2024 guber contest imposes obligation on true lovers of the  State to rise above primordial inclinations, reason together  and support Dorrry Okojie whose capacity  for  effective leadership will usher in a new Edo.

Our reasoning together is on the basis of shared convictions and dreams of building a new  Edo in which public goods will be evenly distributed.

That way, we  are ready   to live together in happiness, with a commitment that  advances peaceful co-existence and the use of our common resources to make Edo State a national attraction and admiration.

By reasoning together, we would  be better positioned to behold the beauty of the manifestation of  rising trust in the capacity of Dr Dorry Okojie to provide the needed coordination and leadership in the building efforts. 

With him and our support, a new Edo beckons.

Edo State Anti- Cultism Taskforce Arrests 11 Suspects, to Face Prosecution

The Edo State Special Anti-Cultism Task Force  on Wednesday in Benin City, the Edo State capital, paraded 11 persons suspected to be involved in cultitism in the State, pointing out that the operation that led to their arrest is giving effect to the attainment of the Edo State guidelines of zero tolerance for cults and cultism  related crimes in the state adding that more would be done within the ambit of the law to stamp out cultism from the state such that there would not be any hiding place for cultists in the state. The taskforce headed by the Department of State Services (DSS) was created by the Governor Obaseki-led state government in response to increasing cult killings which had claimed many youthful lives across the state. The directive was clear – crush cultism with an iron fist. Edo 2024: Consensus Christian Leaders Forum Holds Prayer Session

By Lucky Isibor Ahead the Edo State 2024 governorship election, the Consensus Christian Leaders Forum (CCLF) is to hold a prayer session on Saturday, 10 February to seek the face of God to lead Edo people aright to choose a God fearing Governor on 21 September. In a release by the leader of CCLF, Archbishop Fred Aghedo stated that the prayer session with the theme "Where is Edo of our dream", and called on Edo people to join the group in the prayers to seek the face of God and pray for the realisation of the Edo of our dream.
