Every nation of the world has its sizeable  share of humane, selflessly empathetic individuals who are  preoccupied with solutions to the challenges of their generation and  mankind.
While majority of others are driven by self serving tendencies, these few  individuals are preoccupied with rendering selfless services that engender love and  unity, thereby fostering the overall wellbeing and upliftment of others.

These  are lovers of mankind. These  are patriots who put the love of nation and humanity over and above self and every other primordial considerations.

They are  nation builders without whom national growth are but conflicting illusion to be pursued but never attained.

They are God sent. They epitomize  humility, unassuming in their greatness and splendor .

 They are formidably fortified with  brains and brawns.

The above commendable virtues aptly define and illustrates the personae of Dr Dorry Okojie

Simple, soft spoken,  unassumingly  humane, not given to arrogant lifestyle, but deals with issues as dynamic as they come yet putting the feelings  and the wellbeing of others  first before self.

Edo state at this time in the annals of our struggle as a people in search of enduring legacy, birthed in good governance that mitigates despondency, imperatively needs a humane surgeon general who knows the ailing travails of our collective impairment and has the remedies to sooth our wounds and foster and engender our collective healing and recovery.

Edo State Anti- Cultism Taskforce Arrests 11 Suspects, to Face Prosecution

The Edo State Special Anti-Cultism Task Force  on Wednesday in Benin City, the Edo State capital, paraded 11 persons suspected to be involved in cultitism in the State, pointing out that the operation that led to their arrest is giving effect to the attainment of the Edo State guidelines of zero tolerance for cults and cultism  related crimes in the state adding that more would be done within the ambit of the law to stamp out cultism from the state such that there would not be any hiding place for cultists in the state. The taskforce headed by the Department of State Services (DSS) was created by the Governor Obaseki-led state government in response to increasing cult killings which had claimed many youthful lives across the state. Edo 2024: Consensus Christian Leaders Forum Holds Prayer Session

By Lucky Isibor Ahead the Edo State 2024 governorship election, the Consensus Christian Leaders Forum (CCLF) is to hold a prayer session on Saturday, 10 February to seek the face of God to lead Edo people aright to choose a God fearing Governor on 21 September. In a release by the leader of CCLF, Archbishop Fred Aghedo stated that the prayer session with the theme "Where is Edo of our dream", and called on Edo people to join the group in the prayers to seek the face of God and pray for the realisation of the Edo of our dream.
