Between Reality and Rhetorics

Dorry Okojie's vision to take Edo to where it needs to be, is built around his understanding and acknowledgment of the first responsibility of a leader , which according to Dupree, "is to define reality" 

It is a reality that Edo people know where they are now; a reality that that they yearn for a better and improved social and economic conditions;a reality that they need a leader who can bring these to pass.


This is a certainty, not theoretical or a fiction. 

Dorry Okojie's reality-- driven determination to reset Edo State is a child of courage and empathy. Hence, his promises are based on genuine appreciation of our collective travails and the desire to provide the needed leadership that would turn everything around to the Glory of God and wellbeing of the people.

While many others swim in the pool of rhetorics--spewing messages that are designed to have impressive effect,but lacking in sincerity and material content-- far removed from capacity to face reality, Dorry Okojie is showing the way on how to use ideas to tackle problems.

Helping people to understand where they are and providing the enabling space for them to thrive and arrive at where they need to be, is a task reserved only for leaders who can define reality.

In the light of the foregoing, he truly needs the support of all in his quest to be the next Governor of Edo State, come 2024.

Edo State Anti- Cultism Taskforce Arrests 11 Suspects, to Face Prosecution

The Edo State Special Anti-Cultism Task Force  on Wednesday in Benin City, the Edo State capital, paraded 11 persons suspected to be involved in cultitism in the State, pointing out that the operation that led to their arrest is giving effect to the attainment of the Edo State guidelines of zero tolerance for cults and cultism  related crimes in the state adding that more would be done within the ambit of the law to stamp out cultism from the state such that there would not be any hiding place for cultists in the state. The taskforce headed by the Department of State Services (DSS) was created by the Governor Obaseki-led state government in response to increasing cult killings which had claimed many youthful lives across the state. Edo 2024: Consensus Christian Leaders Forum Holds Prayer Session

By Lucky Isibor Ahead the Edo State 2024 governorship election, the Consensus Christian Leaders Forum (CCLF) is to hold a prayer session on Saturday, 10 February to seek the face of God to lead Edo people aright to choose a God fearing Governor on 21 September. In a release by the leader of CCLF, Archbishop Fred Aghedo stated that the prayer session with the theme "Where is Edo of our dream", and called on Edo people to join the group in the prayers to seek the face of God and pray for the realisation of the Edo of our dream.
