(Dr) Dorry Okojie Commiserates With Ugbesia Family Over Mother's Death



A Frontline aspirant in the  2024 Edo state governorship election on the platform of Labour Party (LP), Dr Dorry Okojie has said that the passing away of the matriarch of the Ugbesias,  Mama Edetubu Ugbesia (Nee Okosor) on Friday October 27, 2023, was  a big loss  to the family, yet  also  worthy of celebration, haven attained the age of I01.

This was contained in a statement he personally signed and made available to the Press earlier today Sunday October 29, 2023 in Benin city, the state capital.


According to him,
"I wish to convey my condolences to the Ugbesias--Odion and Akhere over  the passing of their mother, Mama Edetubu  Ugbesia, the Matriarch of the family at the ripe age of 101 years.


"Mama Adetubu was a remarkable woman who touched the lives of everyone around her with her warmth, love, and kindness. Her presence will be truly missed, and her legacy will continue to live on through her family and loved ones. 

"Please know that you are not alone in your moment of grief but that our hearts are with you  at this  moment the family is going through.

"May the memories of Mama Edetubu and the fact that she lived long to enjoy the fruit of her labour, provide you with comfort during this period.

 May you find strength in the love and support of each other and may her soul rest in eternal peace", the statement concluded.
