Hon. Maureen Ekhoragbon-Ero JP Lauds Odubu's Emergence as Leader, APC Edo South
Hon. Maureen Ekhoragbon-Ero JP, a frontline aspirant for the Edo 2024 governorship election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has congratulated the immediate past Deputy Governor of Edo State, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Dr Pius Odubu, the Okaku 1 on his emergence as Edo South leader of the APC.
In a congratulatory message signed by the governorship hopeful and made available to newsmen in Benin City, Hon. Maureen Ekhoragbon-Ero JP extolled the exemplary leadership qualities of Dr. Odubu, loyalty and commitment to the ideals of the party.
"I congratulate our leader and former Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Dr. Pius Odubu on your emergence as the leader of the Edo South Senatorial District of our great party, APC.
"Your commitment, loyalty and support for the party these past years has earned you this position and I have no doubt in mind that you'll give a good account of yourself as the leader of our great party in Edo South Senatorial District".
"The absence of a leader in Edo South APC has no doubt rubbed the party of a figure of stature and influence in the propagation of our party programmes, prosecution of electoral campaigns and translating the followership the party enjoys into electoral victory.
"Am particularly confident that your emergence as leader of the party in the district will revise previous set backs and increase the fortunes of our party.
"I also want use this opportunity to commend our visionary, undisputed and indefatigable leader of APC in Edo State, our former Governor who set a new development benchmark in the state, His Excellency Distinguished Senator Adams Oshiomhole for making the emergence of Dr. Pius Odubu as leader of the APC in Edo South possible.
"I appeal to all leaders and members of the APC across all the Local Government Areas in Edo South Senatorial District to join hands with our leader, Dr. Pius Odubu to raise the fortunes of the party in Edo South Senatorial District".
