Dorry Okojie's  vision of a new Edo in which the people will have access to basic human rights, functional education, effective health care delivery, good network of roads and enhanced livelihood is balanced equally by his leadership qualities to make the vision a reality.

His gift of a listening ear, which enhances his ability to pay attention to and intelligently interprete divergent opinions and take the right decision is a leadership skill that  sets him apart.

His other leadership qualities include, among others, initiative, problem solving, self discipline,  passion for good governance, positive attitude, sound character, commitment, competence and capacity, focus, courage and above all, the wisdom of knowing what to do when faced with challenges.

The use of these qualities to drive his vision will usher in a New Edo.

Edo State Anti- Cultism Taskforce Arrests 11 Suspects, to Face Prosecution

The Edo State Special Anti-Cultism Task Force  on Wednesday in Benin City, the Edo State capital, paraded 11 persons suspected to be involved in cultitism in the State, pointing out that the operation that led to their arrest is giving effect to the attainment of the Edo State guidelines of zero tolerance for cults and cultism  related crimes in the state adding that more would be done within the ambit of the law to stamp out cultism from the state such that there would not be any hiding place for cultists in the state. The taskforce headed by the Department of State Services (DSS) was created by the Governor Obaseki-led state government in response to increasing cult killings which had claimed many youthful lives across the state. Edo 2024: Consensus Christian Leaders Forum Holds Prayer Session

By Lucky Isibor Ahead the Edo State 2024 governorship election, the Consensus Christian Leaders Forum (CCLF) is to hold a prayer session on Saturday, 10 February to seek the face of God to lead Edo people aright to choose a God fearing Governor on 21 September. In a release by the leader of CCLF, Archbishop Fred Aghedo stated that the prayer session with the theme "Where is Edo of our dream", and called on Edo people to join the group in the prayers to seek the face of God and pray for the realisation of the Edo of our dream.
