When security failure became so glaring in Edo Central, with kidnappings, killings and banditry by herdsmen, almost a daily occurrence, leading to farmers, both men and women abandoning their farms for fear of being victims, Dr Dorry Okojie responded by conceptualizing, establishing and personally funding Atanakpa, a private security outfit, which has worked to restore normalcy.

Consider what he would do for the entire Edo if he becomes the Governor of the State.
Strong, dependable and reliable security architecture, which is a critical element in the philosophy of enabling environment mix, is something Dorry Okojie considers very pivotal to social and economic growth.

On Community engagement, Dr. Okojie emphasizes its significance by encouraging active participation, collaboration, and inclusivity among the citizens of Edo State.

This will create a sense of ownership and responsibility, ensuring that development initiatives are sustainable and tailored to the needs of the people.Together we can make Edo State great again.

Edo State Anti- Cultism Taskforce Arrests 11 Suspects, to Face Prosecution

The Edo State Special Anti-Cultism Task Force  on Wednesday in Benin City, the Edo State capital, paraded 11 persons suspected to be involved in cultitism in the State, pointing out that the operation that led to their arrest is giving effect to the attainment of the Edo State guidelines of zero tolerance for cults and cultism  related crimes in the state adding that more would be done within the ambit of the law to stamp out cultism from the state such that there would not be any hiding place for cultists in the state. The taskforce headed by the Department of State Services (DSS) was created by the Governor Obaseki-led state government in response to increasing cult killings which had claimed many youthful lives across the state. Edo 2024: Consensus Christian Leaders Forum Holds Prayer Session

By Lucky Isibor Ahead the Edo State 2024 governorship election, the Consensus Christian Leaders Forum (CCLF) is to hold a prayer session on Saturday, 10 February to seek the face of God to lead Edo people aright to choose a God fearing Governor on 21 September. In a release by the leader of CCLF, Archbishop Fred Aghedo stated that the prayer session with the theme "Where is Edo of our dream", and called on Edo people to join the group in the prayers to seek the face of God and pray for the realisation of the Edo of our dream.
