Edo 2024: Okojie Replies Imansuangbon, Calls For Culture of Respect In Political Discourse

Edo Labour Party Governorship Hopeful, Dr Dorry Okojie, weekend urged his Labour Party  opponent for the party's ticket, Kenneth Imansuangbon to focus on  promoting  a culture of respect and professionalism in political discourse.

The Estate mogul stated this in an apparent response to Imansuangbon who had described Okojie as a 'political newbie'and  should be rejected by the party's delegates at the forthcoming governorship primaries in February 2024.

In a statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen, advised Imansuangbon to promote inclusive political environment rather than personal attack and inunedos.

Dr Okojie, who recently bagged the international Forbes man  award of year in London stated, " I strongly believe that it's essential to promote a culture of respect and professionalism in political discourse.

"I acknowledge the passion and dedication of all individuals involved in the political landscape, and I firmly believe in the importance of maintaining a respectful and constructive dialogue.

"As such, I advise we foster unity and mutual understanding rather than resort to personal attacks or divisive language.

"It is my hope that we can collectively work towards a future that prioritizes healthy and respectful interactions, enabling us to focus on the issues that truly matter to the people.

"I remain committed to promoting a positive and inclusive political environment, and I invite you to join me in this endeavour" .
