The present economic realities in the country has made it imperative that the next Governor of Edo State is endowed with vigour of mind and intellectual resources to be able to  think outside the box.

The need to have a Governor who has the capacity to take Edo people through the present economic hardships without causing them pains cannot be over emphasised. 

This is why (Dr) Dorry Afe Efosa Okojie fits the bill. (Dr) Dorry Okojie who started his business from a very humble beginning brought his entrepreneurship ingenuity to bear in his property firm, thus expanding through lips and bounds.

His business ingenuity has become a model for international rating agencies for young entrepreneur in Africa and other developing nations to take a cue from.

Given the mandate to govern Edo State, Dr Dorry Afe Okojie will no doubt replicate these successes in Edo State to create employment opportunities for the teeming youths, create safety nets for the poor to be lifted out of poverty and thus galvanise the people to contribute their quota to the development of the state.

It's against this backdrop that well meaning Edo people and the masses are earnestly looking up to the delegates and leadership of the masse's party, the Labour Party to favour them with the choice of (Dr) Dorry Okojie to fly the party's gubernatorial flag in the Edo State 2024 election to ease their liberation from economic hardships.

Edo State Anti- Cultism Taskforce Arrests 11 Suspects, to Face Prosecution

The Edo State Special Anti-Cultism Task Force  on Wednesday in Benin City, the Edo State capital, paraded 11 persons suspected to be involved in cultitism in the State, pointing out that the operation that led to their arrest is giving effect to the attainment of the Edo State guidelines of zero tolerance for cults and cultism  related crimes in the state adding that more would be done within the ambit of the law to stamp out cultism from the state such that there would not be any hiding place for cultists in the state. The taskforce headed by the Department of State Services (DSS) was created by the Governor Obaseki-led state government in response to increasing cult killings which had claimed many youthful lives across the state. Edo 2024: Consensus Christian Leaders Forum Holds Prayer Session

By Lucky Isibor Ahead the Edo State 2024 governorship election, the Consensus Christian Leaders Forum (CCLF) is to hold a prayer session on Saturday, 10 February to seek the face of God to lead Edo people aright to choose a God fearing Governor on 21 September. In a release by the leader of CCLF, Archbishop Fred Aghedo stated that the prayer session with the theme "Where is Edo of our dream", and called on Edo people to join the group in the prayers to seek the face of God and pray for the realisation of the Edo of our dream.
