Oshiomhole's Claim of Disqualification of Ighodalo, Treasonable Offence - PDP

The Ause/Ogie Campaign Council of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has described as treasonable offence, claims of the former governor of EDO State and now Senator Adams Oshiomhole of the APC that Ighodalo is not a candidate of PDP in the Governorship election of Edo State scheduled for September 21, laying claims to the judgement of the Federal High Court in Abuja.
The Deputy Director of strategic communications of the campaign council, Dr. Pedro Obaseki stated this at an interactive session with journalists at the state secretariat of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, we cqEdo State.

Dr. Obaseki who said the court did not disqualify the PDP governorship candidate but only gave a judgement in favour of Ausue Ighodalo, described APC  as a failed party that was trying to convince the people with uncharitable words.

According to Dr. Obaseki, APC had only succeeded in fielding a candidate who cannot interface with the people, shying away from media engagement and speaking to electorate through proxy.

He said: "APC candidate cannot interface with the people he intends to govern. He wants to govern a people who he cannot face and explain to them what he intends to do as governor of Edo state".

He also condemned the age discrepancies of the the governorship candidate of APC, Senator Monday Okpebolo describing it as a dishonest act.

Dr. Obaseki said the governorships candidate of PDP, Asue Ighodalo would bring his wealth of experience in the business world to bare in governing Edo State. He appealed to Edo people to vote massively for Ighodalo for transformation and better the lots of the people.
